Artwork Specs

We prefer files in their native format including all fonts and linked images. All files should include 1/8 inch bleed if image area exceeds crop. We accept files from InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. We can accept PDF files but require colors, tic marks, and bleeds to be correct.

If you flatten your files please DO NOT flatten them with the template visible.

We prefer files from Photoshop saved in the .psd, .eps, .tif, or .jpg format. Try to avoid small text when using Photoshop. All text will be rasterized and will have a halftone dot edge when printed.

We prefer Illustrator files saved in the .ai or .eps format with ALL FONTS CONVERTED TO OUTLINES

Save images at 300 dpi. It’s best if you do the RGB-to-CMYK conversion of your images! When we receive RGB images, we convert to basic CMYK which you may not like. We are not responsible for bad results if you furnish low-res, or RGB images. Remember file formats like jpg uses lossy compression and may affect the quality of your images.

Try not to colorize small text below 12 point. Because of slight misregistration the cyan, magenta, yellow and black portions of the text characters may not line up exactly. The same thing holds true for white (knock-out) text on a dark or colored background.
